Motorist Compliance Officers are responsible for working with law enforcement agencies, state attorneys and Clerks of Court within their region (see ten regions below). Their core duties are to assist these agencies by answering questions, testifying in court, conducting DAVID audits, providing uniform traffic citation (UTC) training, performing law enforcement citation (audit) reviews and troubleshooting Traffic Citation Accounting and Transmission System (TCATS) errors. Motorist Compliance Officers are also responsible for working along with headquarters’ management and the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers to ensure citation data is efficiently transmitted through TCATS and to our database.
