Crash - Documenting Vehicles on Trailers

If a crash involves damage to vehicle(s) that are being towed or hauled on a trailer, D not add the vehicle(s) to the Vehicle section on the crash form.

Per FLHSMV, "Anything being towed is considered cargo, regardless of whether it separates from the towing vehicle during the crash event.   Record the information in the narrative and explain what happened."

Examples:

A vehicle being towed by a wrecker.

A boat being hauled on a trailer

Cars being transported on a car carrier
