Per [http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0300-0399/0318/Sections/0318.14.html FSS 318.14(2)], a violator signature is required on all criminal violations and any infraction that has a mandatory court appearance.

Per [https://www.flhsmv.gov/pdf/courts/utc/utccombinedmanual.pdf UTC Procedures Manual] (page 14), if the violator refuses to sign, the officer should write "refused" on the signature line.

Per [http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0300-0399/0322/Sections/0322.15.html FSS 322.15], if the violator fails to display a driver license, the officer must get a violator fingerprint on the citation. 

All citations with signatures and fingerprints must be delivered to the clerk by the agency, including those in counties whose court appearance violations [https://www.tracsflorida.org/wiki/index.php?title=Which_Citations_Transmit_Electronically%3F transmit electronically].

Officers should deliver their signed and fingerprinted citations to the appropriate person or division at the agency so they may be delivered to the clerk.  &nbsp; If you do not know where to turn them in , refer to your agency policy for guidance.
