When statutes are removed from Appendix C, they are marked as expired in TraCS.

Expired statutes will not be available if you use the data bar to search.   However, they will still show on the list if you press the Search button.   The statutes cannot be removed from the Search list due to database integrity. because it would remove the violation from historical forms.

When statutes are removed from Appendix C, they are marked as expired in TraCS.

Expired statutes will not be available if you use the data bar to search.   However, they will still show on the list if you press the Search button.   The statutes cannot be removed from the Search list because it would affect historical forms.

If you select an expired statute from the Search list, you will not be able to validate your citation, and you will get an error like the one shown below.

If you have an expired statute saved as a favorite, remove it by highlighting it and pressing Clear Favorite.   A screenshot is at the bottom of this page.
