If you would like to use a Topaz Signature pad to add a default signature to TraCS, you must have the Topaz software installed on the machine(s) where you will be doing signatures and you must configure the unit to work with TraCS.
Steps are as follows:
1. Install the software that matches your model.
- Links to the Topaz Signature Pad installers are below.
- Plug-In Installers - https://www.sigpluspro.com/index.html
- Bluetooth Installer (BT2 & BTB models) - https://www.sigpluspro.com/sigplus-bluetooth.html
2. Adjust the TraCS settings.
- The settings in the TopazSignature.ini file may need to be adjusted in order for the unit to work with TraCS.
- The file is here - C:\ProgramData\TraCS\Settings\DLL Settings
- Settings for the models that are currently used by some of our TraCS agencies are below.
- If you have a different model, these settings may work for you. If they don't, contact us and we will assist with getting you set up.

3. Plug the unit into the computer and log into TraCS.
4. Follow the steps on this page to add the user signature.
Once you know the unit is working, we can push the settings file out to the agency if you would like.
