If you would like to use a Topaz Signature pad to add default signatures to TraCS, you must have the Topaz software installed on the machine(s) where you will be doing signatures and you must configure the unit to work with TraCS.
If you need help, contact TraCS Support and we will be happy to assist with the set up.
Steps are as follows:
1. Install the software that matches your Topaz model.
- Links to the Topaz Signature Pad installers are below.
- Plug-In Units - https://www.sigpluspro.com/index.html
- Bluetooth Units (BT2 & BTB models) - https://www.sigpluspro.com/sigplus-bluetooth.html
2. Adjust the TraCS settings.
- The settings in the TopazSignature.ini file may need to be adjusted in order for the unit to work with TraCS.
- The file is here - C:\ProgramData\TraCS\Settings\DLL Settings
- The two different configurations that may be used.
Configuration #1 -
This is the default configuration.

This configuration works with models T-S460-BT2-R, T-S460-HSB-R, and TF-S463-HSNB-R.

3. Plug the unit into the computer and log into TraCS.
4. Follow the steps on this page to add the user signature. If it does not work, go back to the settings file and change to the other configuration, save, and then log out of TraCS and back in for the change to take effect.
5. Once you know it is working, we can push the settings file from the machine out to the agency. If you'd like it pushed out, contact us for next steps.
