If you would like to use a Topaz Signature pad to add default signatures to TraCS, you must have the Topaz software installed on the machine(s) where you will be doing signatures and you must configure the unit to work with TraCS.
If you need help, contact TraCS Support and we will be happy to assist with the set up.
Steps are as follows:
1. Install the software that matches your Topaz model.
- Links to the Topaz Signature Pad installers are below.
- Plug-In Units - https://www.sigpluspro.com/index.html
- Bluetooth Units (BT2 & BTB models) - https://www.sigpluspro.com/sigplus-bluetooth.html
2. Plug the unit into the computer and log into TraCS.
3. Follow the steps on this page to add the user signature.
- If it works, no further action is needed unless you would like the settings file pushed out to the agency. Go to Step 5.
- If it does not work, the Topaz settings in TraCS need to be adjusted. Go to Step 4.
4. Adjust the TraCS settings.
- The settings in the TopazSignature.ini file may need to be adjusted in order for the unit to work with TraCS.

- Configuration #1 - This is the default configuration.
