Brother Printer Configuration

The plug and play drivers for Brother PJ and RJ Printers work in TraCS.

If your citations are printing on two pages (full page) or feeding extra paper (4-inch), use the settings below.

Make the change in Windows so it will stick going forward.

You may make the change from within TraCS as a quick fix, but the change will not stick. It will revert back the next time you log in.

There is some trial and error involved. You may need to try different settings to get the one that works.

Since the Brother PJ is a full-page printer, you must select a full-page report in the Report Manager.

The 4inch reports are designed for 4-inch machines and will not print properly.

The full-page reports will either have Full Page in the description or no size designation. The 4inch reports are clearly marked.

From Windows

Go to Printers & Scanners, choose your printer model from the list, and change the paper settings so that they match the screenshot below.

From Within TraCS

Press Print and from the Report Manager, press Setup and change the paper settings to that they match the screenshot below.

If it's still printing on two pages, try the setting in the Roll section.

Since the Brother RJ is a 4-inch printer, you must select one of the 4inch reports in the Report Manager.

The other reports are designed for full page machines and will not print properly.
