I Cannot Pull a Form Number
Overview
If an officer is unable to pull a UTC number when pressing validate, there are several reasons this may occur.
1. The agency has run out of citation numbers.
2. The officer's profile is set up incorrectly as a data entry account.
3. TraCS is offline, or the officer is in an area with no or poor connectivity.
4. The citation already has a number pulled and that number did not save to the database.
- The agency has run out of citation numbers.
- Run the Available Form Numbers analysis report. If your available UTC count is 0, you need to request additional numbers from FLHSMV.
- The officer's profile is set up incorrectly as a data entry account.
- An agency administrator should check the officer's profile. If RecordsDataEntry is listed on their access levels, they cannot pull numbers. Remove it and add Reporter.
- The officer is offline or in an area with no or poor connectivity.
- If there are red bars in the upper right corner of the forms manager, TraCS is offline (no connection).
- If you use a VPN, make sure you are signed in and it's connected.
- If you are in an area with poor connectivity, move to a different location.
- If there are red bars in the upper right corner of the forms manager, TraCS is offline (no connection).
- The citation already has a number pulled and that number did not save to the database. TraCS will not allow a new number to be pulled.
